unsanitized, unpasteurized music

Dan Zanes Rocks.

Our family loves his music. Has your family discovered a love for him too?

Dan Zanes and Friends’ “Catch That Train!” the 2007 Grammy Award winner for Best Musical Album for Children. Buy it today and have a good ole fashion dance party in your living room (or if you're a super cool art teacher, like my sister, you can have a dance party with your students).

Ashely, I'm so glad you like Dan Zanes. Jeremy & I tried to explain DZ & friends to Kap & Wendy...we went on and on about it but I don't think we were convicing enough. We should definitely let them know you guys are fans too.

I'm googling Laurie now :)

Have you heard Elizabeth Mitchell? She has amazing children's music too. She did one c.d. with Lisa Loeb. It's so cute. I listen to her and I don't even have kids....yet. I know they sell her stuff on Land of Nod's website, and of course itunes.

My kids LOVE Laurie Berkner. We even have a couple of her albums. Dan Zane is cool. We're also big fans of They Might Be Giants (who Jeremy should remember as one of my all time favorites) with their two kids albums.

Also, Jack Johnson's "Curious George" soundtrack is a good one.
